That is exactly what I thought while listening to her show! _________________ I have this theory that chocolate slows down the aging process.... It may not be true, but do I dare take the chance?

For some reason MisterMe reminds me of a response phrase that is guaranteed to annoy a parent.
Mom: Behave!
Child: How can I be a have, if I don't know what one is?
DH and I will tease each other by responding in such a way when the rugger is just barely out of earshot---causing the non-responder to worry that he might hear and pick it up.
I know, we're special. _________________ I demand euphoria! |

What i think is funny is that i know parents that will not let kids use the internet... but they have a tv in the childs room with every cable channel known to man _________________ Check out Outsiders Underground |

| Cable's pretty tame compared to an unchecked Internet connection; the problem is parents don't want to take responsibility. At least with cable, the FCC plays some part (provided it's basic cable of course). |

Ugh.
TV.
My Grandpa has a TV in almost every room of his house. Last year he finally stopped trying to push me into letting the boy have a TV in his room (he actually gave us two TVs for the specific purpose of putting them in the boys room, but I refused and sent them back---drove him nuts)
He only stopped because I allowed the boy to have a television in his room that is hooked up to a dvd player and a PS2, nothing else--- and honestly, I think he's only had 'in-room' TV privileges for a few weeks out of the past eight months!!
Around the same time I let H. put a television in our room with the Xbox360 (Oblivion was addictive to watch too!) but only on a temporary basis.
If you aren't in a roommate type situation, I don't see a reason for having a TV in the bedroom...OK maybe one reason _________________ I demand euphoria! |
