I am just now getting home from work after a long afternoon of marathon meetings. Coming southbound on 81 between Shipp and Scotland the State Police were out in the center lane with lights flashing. Of course the wreck is past the Scotland entrance/exit at that bad turn past the over pass. Traffic was backed up for about a half mile. After approx a half an hour I was up across the overpass and on the way past the mall to that first road to the right and you could see the accident, 81 was stopped both ways. Hope there were no serious injuries but that's asking a lot.
Guess we know where Brian is tonight. |

You guessed right
I was I-81 N. around the Marion exit when I heard the call so I was there a few minutes after the accident.
Ryan Blackwell (PO Staff Photographer) arrived and took pictures as well which are in today's edition (as well as on the web site).
I'll post any further updates regarding this incident on the other thread just to reduce confusion.
