Naw, see, a goober is a goofball and a goober pea is a peanut.

Er, I think.
Hmm, le's see, Mr. Carter was a goober pea farmer and I heard his brother was something of a goober... Yup!

Goober and Goober-nugget are two of my favorite choices.

And FYI, Cookie, Goober Pyle was on the Andy Griffith Show (starring Andy Griffith) as the mechanic, his brother, Gomer Pyle went off and joined the Army while releasing some operatic type albums in RL.

But, being a goober, you probably already knew that. Very Happy

Now I feel better.

I always thought Gomer would have been a better Marine than a soldier. Maybe all the Marines I've ever met were taking cues from him.
