I am not ashamed to admit I like comic movies (when done right). That said I am genuinely excited to see what they will do with Iron Man. On the flip side I am afraid of the rumors and hub bub around the new Hulk movie.

What's that you say? You did not know there was a Hulk movie this summer. No my friends the good Doctor has not been in his magic bag again, nor am I stuck in 2003. There is a Hulk movie set for this summer and it stars Ed Norton and Tim Roth. Which right there should have acting fans happy (see the award winning thread).

This movie is getting little promotion out side of the wonderful world of geeks that I live in. I fear the reason is tied into rumors I have heard about liberties taken with the source material for the villain, and certain actors editing and rewriting the film. I fear they have messed up what could have been a great popcorn experience. Oh well I guess I should hold on for The Dark Knight and the long off Watchmen (which may turn out good yet!).

All I can say is #@!$@#$@#$#! Its the freaking Hulk. This is not rocket science people. Its Gamma Science.

I was terrified of the Incredible Hulk as a child, now I need only go to the local gym to see some veiny gross guy, albeit not green.

I'm pretty sure that if there is ever a She-Hulk movie, they should cast Chyna (that wrestler chick) for the role. They could pay her in unmarked prescrription pills.

BTW, Doctor K.A. I am just as glad you're back as Anonymouse and Cookie, but that doesn't mean you can take liberties.
The Movies/TV Shows section is quite clearly labeled.

Yikes! You're right...I think I was planning another rant on Reed Richards and this ended up coming out....how do we get this moved to its rightful place?

they're making the hulk grey this time around. I don't like that. The fact that the hulk became green because they could not print a consistant color grey at the time is neat to me. Though the prospect of seeing a not sucky hulk movie has me interested

i'm a loyal xmen person. good movies.
i've yet to see the hulk one tho, since i've hear so much about it. a grey hulk? that's just sad. i think the appeal is the 'larger than life' aspect...hum....
