It is quite clearly an owl, but also an Internet meme... I'm not sure why I'm responding on the relevance of whether or not my avatar is "the traditional Liberal DoDo Bird." 
Dodo's are extinct (and also an important species in the study of evolutionary biology) and though they're used in literature and pop culture as a representation of something that will or become out of date, they were not, by any means, lacking intelligence.
Maybe I should find an O Rly dodo?  |

you imply above that coppy is wrong in thinking your posts are not funny not realizing that humor is a matter of opinion, not a truth as you say.
obviously humor isn't an important issue (which makes it more hilarious that you say liberals are wrong with their opinion of humor). it is telling though that a lot of republicans today (the bush supporting ones at least) can't see anything in shades of gray or use what psychologists call post-conventional thinking, rather a lot of bush supporters feel everything is black/white, right/wrong. |

I think I had a 2nd grade teacher who once said that. Did you steal that "joke" from her, or just used it because you think tired cliches are funny?
