explain epic
and talents are becoming worrisome, at first I was like, okay a few points here and maybe one here, but now I think they may actually matter!!

The talent trees provide what little degree of specialization a given class can achieve. There are three per class, and each take the character in a specific play style direction.
I think you said you're a 'lock, right? So, your particular choices are AFFLICTION (make things sick unto death) DESTRUCTION (blow things up real good like) and DAEMONOLOGY (buff your minions)...
Talents can be reset at any time by any class trainer. It costs gold, and gets progressively more expensive the more you do it, so don't play around with them too much... _________________ "The Master would not approve..." |

worldofwarcraft.com has a talent tree calculator...so you can 'mess' around w/it there. if you booboo, it's 1g to unlearn, then 5, 10, etc....so like torgo said...you don't wanna mess around too much.
however...when you're 70 you can...i switch all the time, but i have the money saved, so it's ok...
re: locks....aff is best for lvling until 49/50...then i'd switch to demo (which is when you can get felguard at 41 talent points...which is handy for lvling)...but again, it's up to you |

I'm hesitating about battlegrounds, I pass by the portal into Warsong Gulch a lot, but I don't travel with any groups and I'm still getting my butt kicked by instances...like that one in Shadow Cleft in Orgrimmar?
I mean WtH?! The stupid snakes are lvl 14+ why the plus? Why can't they make them 14? It really hurts my feelings to have to run from a 'snake' that is supposedly quite a few levels below me!!
I want to play in the arenas too, but I had doubts before Cookie said anything about Blizzard hating on casters...
I guess I better get working on that BE pally. _________________ I demand euphoria! |

ah, elites. yeah. they'll whoop ya. even if you're their lvl. the theory is that while they say lvl 14, the elite really makes them in theory a few lvls higher...so it's more of a challenge.
bgs. lemme make an alt on your server and lvl her fast and i'll run thru them w/you to show you the ropes. they are fun, but they can be nightmareish...twinks and all and dying a lot etc. i bg all the time (it's what we do) so i 'm used to the dying/twinks/etc....i like the challenge.
instances. i usually don't run them w/out guildies....just a rule of mine cuz i've been in some bad pugs. (see: crispy gamer's wow comic on 'dc-ing' to get out of bad pugs)...
as for bgs, try it out! see if you like it or not. the points you save and tokens you get will get you sweet gear (boots from ab in 30s/40s that will increase your run speed, sweet belt....um...wsg has bracers etc. that are way better than a lot of the gear at those lvls)
sorry i've been away from posting....end of term wrap ups. i'm getting back on track |

ok so this isn't technically just a wowspeak i think, but i can't remember where the guild to im/net speak is....and i'm too tired to fiind it
i heard a "new" one tonight and wanted to report it to keep us all up to date....
here it is:
"i noe riet"
so, i gathered from interpreting the conversation, what was really meant to be say was:
"i know, right?"
heads up! |

eW
I don't like that one.
Thank you for the update though.
I plan to restart my warcrack addiction soon...you'll know when by the loud shrieking as some lvl 70 decides it will be cute to gank my lvl 20 lock repeatedly.
The shrieking will most likely be followed by the ceremonial breaking of stuff through out my house as scream obscenities about 'Ally bastards' _________________ I demand euphoria! |

ahhhh yes. obscenities abound in wow....it's why i had to buy a new mouse (g*d d*mmit smack smack smack smack smack...oops!)
warlocks at 70 are sick. that's why we're targeted even as lowbies. everyone's like, ugh---kill that lock (much as the infamous kill the healer rabble call)....imo, there's a reason why they're always nerfed ( a weeeee bit OPd)
haha!
oh, not sure i've used that one before OP = overopowered
and that they are. lvl'd to 70 w/a huntard and it was just sick. |
