So how does everyone feel about Peeps creators Just Born of PA for the first time in their 84 year history outsourcing to China?

Yeah yeah they make a sugary teeth rotting confection, but they ARE fun. I can't be the only one who has had peep jousting matches in the microwave!

There will be no more peeps purchased by my household (unless production returns to the USA).

The Chinese have the business philosophy of "buyer beware". That is that it is up to you the buyer to make sure you are buying what you think you are buying. The seller has no responsibility that their product will do what you think it will do or should do.

"you did not say that we could not use paint with lead" "You did not ask if there was antifreeze in your tooth paste" And thn, the President of Mattel apologizes to the Chinese guy. What, they specified lead paint or did they not say that poisonous lead paint was not permitted?

I can not believe that US corporation are so greed-blinded to put us at risk for a buck.

I get e-mails everyday from Chineese companies wanting me to sell their products. No way.

I have been to China. I would not knowingly eat anything that came from there.
