Top 10 Most Aggressive Dog Breeds
Determined by an Applied Animal Behavior Science Study, which involved researchers from the University of Pennsylvania and was based on a survey of 6,000 dog owners.
1. Dachshund (if someone was always trying to dress you up as a hotdog and kept referring to you as a weiner, I bet you'd be cranky too!)
2. Chihuahua (small dog syndrome...wait, that's a dog?! I kid, I kid. ---- I have a fish that could *totally* that dog)
3. Jack Russell terrier (small dog syndrome)
4. Akita
5. Australian Cattle Dog
6. Pit Bull
7. Beagle
8. English Springer Spaniel
9. Border Collie
10. German Shepherd
I would have commented on the rest, but they might eat me.

I'm surprised dachsund is at top of list~I've always thought them neat dogs but never had one. Chihuahua though, I've never come across a nice one-ever. I think they're permanently angry since they're considered Mexican Cat Snax
Neatest dog I've ever come across was a Blue Heeler (#5 on the list; aka Aussie Cattle Dog). It was a hoot watching a dog, bred to herd cattle & sheep, herding turkeys

dachshunds ARE neat dogs.
I love them,
BUT
they need to be properly trained and people need to be aware of what all dogs were initially bred for.
Most problems are caused by people thinking a dog is "Awe So KUUUTEE!!" and not knowing what they're getting into.
Little dogs are the 'worst' because people let them get away with everything... they think since they're small and it doesn't hurt so much when they attack your toe it's no big deal.
Add to that that many small breeds were bred to hunt weasels or go into burrows to retrieve all sorts of foul tempered beasties and bad attitudes should be no surprise.
Chihuahuas are...gah...no words.
I had a hate relationship with Jack Russells, but with enough activity, they're tolerable... I might even appreciate their irritating cleverness and stuff...but I won't admit it.
All the rest of those on the list are GOOD dogs.
They just need time and GOOD owners.
Edited because I could not differentiate one word for another. I svck. _________________ Nevermind.

Confession: I've considered making stuff up to post here just so you would show up, OneWhoKnows.
