Anyone tried out a converter box yet? I use rabbit ears to pick up 25, 31, 68 on occasion. Hooked up a box today but couldn't get a signal~didn't expect one for 68 but figured 25 would be up?

Do mean for the digital switch-over in February? I did hear Wilmington, DE went all digital today... and still a large elderly population called in with complaints about their TV's. Oh well.

Doubt you'll find many here that don't have cable/satellite.

Howdy pardner.

Actually it was Wilmington, NC that switched over I guess... oh well. It always seemed odd to me that people in this area use over-the-air because we're about as far away from the signals as possible. If we were just a bit closer to Harrisburg or DC, then everything would come in crystal clear. But I know people who use a roof-mounted antenna and still have trouble getting most channels, other than NBC 25, to come in clear.

I couldn't imagine not having an alternative to the nothing-but-reality-shows on network TV these days. I hope PBS comes in clear for you at least...

I use rabbit ears too - get Washington channels 5, 7, 9; Baltimore 13; PBS 31; Hagerstown 25, 68 in analog (we live on a hill).

I hooked up the converter box and don't get anything in digital. I thought maybe my converter box was bad, so I borrowed a friend's box and it was the same.

I thought I'd get something. I guess I'll have to get a rooftop antenna.
