What the devil are summer helpers?

What do they help with?

If I call one will they help me clean my house?

Exercise my dogs?

Entertain my kid?

Or are they more like lawn mowers and gutter cleaners?

I asked on Topix when you printed winter helpers and everybody ignored me! (guess I'll go eat worms)

I don't understand! Crying or Very sad

The summer helpers will mow your lawn for you and the winter helpers will shovel your sidewalks for you. They are kids that are trying to make a few extra bucks helping others.
