Trust me, it's for the best.
We would be more than happy to have a civil discussion about here on Soapbox;we're the responsible members of the PO online community. 
But Topix has a way of getting nasty over the most mundane stories... the thought of some comments that may appear in a story about child rape is frightening, and would probably require more moderation than the PO can provide. |

I was actually warming up to Lil John...it took a few weeks. Then I realized I hadn't been taking my medication....around the same time he stopped taking his.
I have a hypothesis that, around here, even when it isn't about politics, it IS about politics!
I've watched posters that seemed relatively mild mannered become increasingly nasty and aggressive the closer we get to election day.
---Now, I realize that I am quick to lose my temper sometimes, but that's my nature...up until this point these others have been pretty level and very NOT like me.
It's like we have a Topix full of LJs and jtbs!
