So psyched they are touring but I probably won't get a ticket before Weiland gets locked up again...bummer.

Yeah it's pretty bad when Slash kicks you out of the band because of your habit.

Thing is he's got talent, it's really a shame. Who knows, maybe he feels he's just too square when he's clean. Maybe he needs the turmoil to inspire creativity.

I guess I shouldn't down play the power of addiction. It's just that there are a lot of people that are caught up in it that don't have near the resources he does to avoid the turmoil and danger that go along with it.

With all he has at his disposal and all that he could be accomplishing with his "clean time", you would think he would be inspired to get help and kick it. Or maybe at the very least, keep on killing brain cells but stay the "bleep" home. I read that he just pleaded not guilty to a dui charge a day before they announced the tour.

I guess it's just more proof that you can't change until you yourself decide you really want it.
