You are right, my dear, that came out wrong.

Red onions are just fine, but the last two months I've had heartburn (which is rare for me) so I've tried to be a bit more discriminating of what I eat.

Bell peppers, of any color, turn your brain to mush. My uncle Jack told me so--- when I was 8. My uncle Jack doesn't lie, Coppy...are you trying to say different?
How do I know you just aren't some weird alien species or trying to poison me?

When tomatoes were first brought to Italy, no one ate them because the local peasant population associated the leaves of the plant to be poisonous. It took years before tomatoes gained widespread acceptance in Italy.

So that's not an usual thing cookie, especially if she was from Italy or some Mediterranean region.

And chel; I apologize. I guess I didn't realize this was uncle Jack we're talking about, well, we all know how uncle Jack can be!

You know what else can turn your brain to mush? Crack. Razz

I swear that every single community getting new construction has EVERYONE saying "did you hear an Olive Garden is coming????" People get excited, word spreads... before you know it, everyone's all ready for the Olive Garden and then it turns out that it was never going to happen (and then it gets blamed on liquor licenses, which, to be fair, is usually the problem).

The thing is I am not that crazy about the OG, when I lived in HBG I worked for a doctor who held his monthly meetings at the OG in colonial Park and I got sick of there food because their menu does not change much. and the use the same red sauce on everything

Olive Garden is the most overrated restaurant in American history.

I'm not saying Olive Garden is bad, but it's certainly not Italian food and it's definitely overrated. I've personally never had a meal there I didn't enjoy in the few times I've been, but I just find it very unauthentic.

If you want great Italian food, I'd encourage everyone to try Piatto in Carlisle. It's a little pricey, but certainly worth a special occasion meal over the OG.

it's conceptually like taco bell. we know it isn't 'real' mexican food, but we eat there anyway.
