I watched Walk Hard. I enjoyed it, it definitely had its moments that made me laugh out loud. It will be one I want to start quoting, as there are some ridiculous lines in it, not fit for print here.

Personally, I don't consider the "28 Days Later" running zombies to be true zombies. I'm a George A. Romero purist and actually find the skulking, slow-moving zombies to be scarier than the running ones.

That said, I'm not anti-running zombies. I thought 28 Days Later was pretty good and I'm always open to new interpretations.

I'm also a fan of the Max Brooks (son of Mel) books The Zombie Survival Guide and World War Z.

they weren't technically zombies... they were infected with 100% pure rage....

but yeah, running zombies suck; like in the remake of dawn of the dead

I strangely enjoyed the Dawn remake, despite the running zombies which were totally inauthentic. Looks like Romero's Diary of the Dead was a huge flop though, so I guess I'll just wait for the World War Z movie.

i liked the part where the world was being torn apart to Johney Cash and wasn't minding the movie's running zombies(though they suck!) until the zombie birthing scene.... gross

Diary of the dead... I heard that the ating was just tragic.

I seriously hope that the whole shaking camera isn't some new movie trend... one movie(Cloverfield)... ok two...more... no. I don't want motion sickness everytime I watch a movie...

I mean The Blair Witch wasn't even that good!

Yeah, I mostly hate that technique too. "Okay, we have an inept editor, no pacing and a staid narrative. I know! We'll just make everything jittery and hope no one notices!"

I dunno. I saw it in the theater. It wasn't really a scary movie, but the sound effects were definitely unsettling.

ah, blair witch.

i was living in state college at the time and decided to go see it (my ex wouldn't do stuff w/me so i'd go to these things alone)...alone was NOT a good way to see this movie. i went to the 'old' downtown theatre and with it's dark blood red velvety curtains and sitting alone in the crowd...very unsettling experience. plus i have a vivid imagination which doesn't help.

so i tell my cousin about it and when i'm in cburg he and i went to see it (i wanted to see it again to dissect it, because that's what i like to do)...he was creeped out as well.

we get to my parent's house and they made the twig-people (like in the movie) and hung them in the trees throughout the yard. i was laughing my @ss off and my cousin, very shaken by this, told my parents: DUDES...that's NOT funny

he was right...it wasn't........it was hysterical!!!

(so, a further glimpse into where i genetically get my humor from)
