I think we're set with grocery stores and drug stores for now. Yes, I know, i know how great a Wegman's would be... but I'm a realist Smile

The Franklin County version of Karn's is the Butcher Shoppe.

I have many, many gripes with the Butcher Shoppe (which I affectionately refer to as "The BS"). But I keep my voice down on that one because all the knuckleheads around here think that Jesus-Fish-Butcher-Shoppe can do no wrong.

Well, they can and they do. But that's one I might have to save for the blog. Razz

What's the deal with whoopie pies anyway?

I don't really like them... they make me thirsty. Sort of how I feel about marshmallow. Do they have marshmallow or just a cream filling?

yum. crisco. i actually prefer it when they make it w/lard. LOL. tastes better.

/ducks from the health nuts pinging non-lardish things at me like nuts and berries and stuff.

(hehe...i actually don't eat too terribly..i just prefer that i have a sweet thing once in a while)

when I make woopie pies I add a little bannana pudding mix to the pie part.. It adds a great taste. Instead of crisco for the filling I add more conf. sugar and butter, you can also add peanut butter. YUMMM!!!
