Where's the "don't care" option?
I don't know, the postage thing is silly. I almost never mail stuff anymore. And the Chambersburg post office is such a nightmare, I see my life flash before my eyes every time I try to pull in or out of that parking lot. I do like laughing at all the people waiting on the enormous line as I use the self-mailing kiosk. |

I'm with Coppy on this one. We very rarely use the USPS anymore unless there is no othe option. _________________ Certainly there is no hunting like the hunting of man and those who have hunted armed men long enough and like it, never really care for anything else thereafter. |

The only bill I basically still have to mail is to the borough (be nice if we could pay online) but I usually just drop it off there anyway. Credit cards, loan payments, phone, cable, and everything else I just pay online. I've also gone "paperless" on all my accounts so I get a lot less mail now.
I can understand why they keep raising the rates; people are mailing a lot less stuff now and as more and more mail-related items go electronic, it will only decrease. Someone has to pay those hard-working postal worker's pensions
Honestly, I wouldn't care if they just raised it to 50 (or more) cents now and got it over with, because the most annoying thing at this point is just having all of those under-priced stamps. |

I sometimes overpay for priority just so I don't have to wait for media mail... I'm that impatient. |

I don't use very many stamps either, but, the implementation of the 'forever stamp' did get me to go buy 100 stamps ahead of this next price increase. I expect that will last me for the next couple of price hikes.
a_c and coppy, have either of you looked into 'click-n-ship', where you can print out postage right on your computer? It's free (except for the postage, of course). _________________ Author assumes full responsibility for the content of their posts.
