so. i was thinking about chel's tiger striped mary janes and thought for those of us who liked shoes (yes, even ppl like me who wear the same oxfords every day with the exception of the ow-ow-these-hurt-shoes from last week)...and thought we could show and tell the ones we liked.

i looked up her frye lust brand on zappos.

these are cute:

I will try very hard not to kill this board by over posting.

We have GOT to be psychically linked or something!

I have spent the past two nights pondering over Zappos and a few other sites trying to decide which of the 9 pages of shoes I've narrowed it down to that I'm going to buy!!

Mostly I go for oxfords and boots. I like mary janes and I prefer round toes cause they make my foot look smaller....unless we're talking about Chucks or Vans---you could have a size 2 foot and they would still make your feet look huge, but man they are *cute*

And I like thick and/or clunky soles.

I can't do a spiked heel the way I used to (gawd, that makes me sound old!) So I aim for thicker heels an platforms. Sometimes, I just can't resist, which is when I have to pull out the cane and the narcotics...(I know, I'm retarded!)

I'm wavering on some really cute summer sandals, not typically my style, but I'm a sucker for bright colors and 'different' patterns. Like those lime green Docs?

Oh who am I kidding...I want every color but pink!!

Or these red gingham wedges? Squee. (Just a little squee)
http://www.zappos.com/n/p/p/7313994/c/30288.html

These orange sandals are pretty hawt too
http://www.zappos.com/n/p/p/7222463/c/396.html

And these would go perfectly with a couple of my suits, if I can ever get back to working Confused
http://www.zappos.com/n/p/p/7349045/c/1214.html

And these aren't exactly saddle oxfords, but they'll do
http://www.zappos.com/n/p/p/108263/c/2121.html

And these just make me cry...'cause I haven't figured out how to justify their purchase. Crying or Very sad
http://www.zappos.com/n/p/dp/33151098/c/401.html

I need a job or two to support my habit. Which means I need some more skills, dangit!

And these, these I need for when I'm strolling down cobblestone streets of classier downtowns spending mad money received from some ghenerous benefactor I have yet to find. lawl
http://www.zappos.com/n/p/dp/39065301/c/10934.html

These or my converse, some clodhoppers or a cheap pair of Skechers are what I would really end up wearing most of the time though, so I guess I should just save my money.
http://www.zappos.com/n/p/dp/35088322/c/65553.html

And I'm still looking for those papaya flats or Bolo boots if anyone sees them. (I ended not buying the ones Sassy found at Amazon that were size 10, I don't think I could shrink them)

Crap, you guys are a bad influence! I've been trying to avoid shoe shopping, because of my ridiculous existing pile of shoes.

I want those Kate Spade shoes you posted, chel.

If anyone starts a thread for handbags, we'll have bigger problems.

I hate to say it Cookie, but I think you're wrong...

Sassy should definitely get three new purses and four pair of shoes.

She's earned it.

>nod<

(After she gets her new things I will then use her as an example to justify my own purchases Bwahahaha!)

Apparently Bluefly is having a 40% designer shoe sale

Even though I know no one on here would be interested I thought I'd post the link anyway. Wink
