So, um, it's not an award or anything, but thanks for being on the ball when it comes to policing Topix, I guess.

I went to find the German phrase 'Libby' wrote in the comments section of Letter to the editor: Advice column upsets local reader and realized the whole thread was gone.

At first, I was disappointed because, you know, I wanted to read it.

Then I realized I should be thankful, because reading it would have probably pissed me the eff off, I would have been mad enough to spit and probably would have tried to hunt some people down and break a few laws.

The things we're exposed to make me so...tired sometimes. I know that avoidance and pretending that 'it' does not exist isn't the answer, but it is so never ending.

I'm not black, or any other color, (I'm one of those creepy, ruddy pink almost translucent people) and I'm sick of all the attitude, I cannot imagine what it must be like to deal with this mess on a daily basis!
I didn't have to start dealing with this crap at birth, like half of our society... I chose to start calling people on it in my high school years, when people were not acting in a way that, I was taught, educated society promotes.
I really cannot imagine...

and, you, Public Opinion staff, see and hear the ugliest parts of people everyday!
I already hate people, but I bet it would still grind on me.

So, thank you, Public Opinion Staff, Editors, Site Moderators for protecting some of us who are already world weary, from being beat down even further.
I wish you the fortitude to continue your efforts in the future.

Of course, if there are any repeat offenders or people so hideously ugly that they are in desperate need of 'correction' it couldn't hurt to leave their screen names up for a little while...especially if they talk about personal or traceable matters...
