Ooh right, Hardware Bar, that's the one they turned the Vault into... ugh.

That is the one in Harrisburg, the one Coppy is talking about was Wanda's at the Holiday INN in Mechanicsburg. I loved The Vault, Wanda's and even The Playground Lounge

Ah, Wanda's...

The old high school hangout, way back when it was an underage dance club. Lotsa fights, as I recall...

I dont recall that, there was a place on up behind Super Shoes that was called Off The Pike. It was called Kahuna's before that when I was in HS, but I always went to the under 21 club at the Villa in New Cumberland

The Wanda's dance club era would have been around 1987 or 1988. I don't think it lasted too many years before it became an outright nightclub, because I remember partying there on breaks while I was home from school.

Lol, no...

It's pretty hard to get me fighting mad.

Dr. Kird Ape can attest to this.

Hahaha, what's up with the "community calendar" floating toward the top of the page in two different places. I kind of want to stare at it just to see if it makes it to the top. GO, GO, GO, GO!

Anyone else feel compelled to give that old guy a high five?

Holy crap, it's like that website's from 1997.

Fandango's the only way to go but... cookie. Don't go there. Seriously, it's definitely worth the drive to catch a movie in Hagerstown or Carlisle.

I always used Hollywood.com I will try Fandango

I think this new Public Opinion website is the ugliest thing I have ever run across. Just my opinion! Rolling Eyes Absolutely no color or life to it. Every day I open it up, I see the same story headlines from 2 or 3 weeks ago.

Mom4, since we have to disagree on everything, Razz , I have to say that I like the PO's new website, that it is steadily improving with the new design and that it is as good or better than the vast majority of small, local newspaper websites.
