Hmm, come to think of it I can't think of anything. Its a nice quiet town at night...but during the day around the truck stop...good luck! Worst traffic in town. But its better than other places i guess.

There is quite a bit to talk about in Greencastle. Just ask the residents Smile I like the town. It is quaint, has some nice shops (used to have best bakery in the county until someone bought it and ruined it) and has nice people living there (most of them). Politics are a bit murky or muddy depending on who to talk to. But isn't that the case in most towns? You don't hear as much about traffic tickets as you used to though Smile

Truck stops yo; they gotta eat somewhere. I do avoid that exit.

My favorite thing about Greencastle has to be the Coffee Roasters, but there isn't much else that does it for me. There isn't a whole lot to do, but it is close enough to Hagerstown to be decent... Cafe Del Sol is one of my favorite local restaurants too.

I'm sorry I never got to sample anything from Wolf's Bakery; I'm still hearing rumors about them re-opening... any truth to that?

Why did they close anyway? Greencastle residents still eating Wonderbread?

They closed because the people who bought Wolfs decided to take a very well run business that people loved and change it to a poorly run business that people did not like. I personally had a problem with them when I ordered a cake. My husband picked it up and brought it home for me and it was not what I ordered. The new owner would not stand behind the mistake they made. Mr. Wolf would have! I never went back. From the sound of blogs in the past, many people were upset for various reasons and stopped going there.
