Time for the young people to learn some things and for us "Old" people to realize how old we are. Real simple post something (up to three a post) about something that you can remember that is not around anymore.

I can remember when you "rented" your phone form AT&T and it was a rotary one.

I can remember when there were no private lines and you had to wait for your neighbor to get off the phone so you could make a call

I can remember dialing 0 and getting a real person who was local

I remember gas at $ .35 and so was a pack of cigarettes.

School lunches were $. 25, and it was a real meal! Who cared if we had horse meat for our "hamburgers". It still tasted good to us!

I remember the entire neighborhood playing hide and go seek until the street lights came on. That's when you knew it was time to go home.

Oooh, oooh...what's that game where everybody locks arms and calls somebody from the other side to run over to try to break through? Red Rover Red Rover? Man, that was fun! Yep there were a couple of kids who got a sprained wrist or two, but they quickly learned how to hold on the right way!

I remember when,
I remember,
I remember when I lost my mind.
