HAH! If I give you my wife's e-mail address, could you share that tidbit with her?
This time you got to wait for a response. I was headed out the door shortly after your last post to help with a geocaching presentation up at King's Gap. We did one last year and had about 10 or 12 people. Today we only had three. The park staff said it was probably because they unintentionally scheduled a second activity for the same day (a hike) and most of the outdoor types did that instead.
Anyhow to slightly steer back in the general direction of the topic, on the way out I found one of the attendees along the park drive with his hood up. One of his dummy lights cam on, so he pulled over and shut off to check things out. After he was done, he had no power. Couldn't start, no lights, nothing. I didn't have cables so I told him to hop in and we headed back up towards the park to find someone with cables.
I saw my co-presenters coming, so I flagged them down. The road is very narrow, and as we pulled alongside each other to discuss things, a family coming up the road had to edge off into the woods a bit to get around. Even though the other driver apologized for the situation, the man started mouthing off and yelling as they passed by. Then he stopped, turned around and said "It's a good thing I don't have my gun!" before going on his way. I smiled and though to myself, "It's a good thing I'm carrying two!".
Seriously though, I can't imagine why anyone would say such a thing. Legal or not, you have no idea what someone else might have on them these days. Too many people run their mouth before engaging their brain! _________________ Author assumes full responsibility for the content of their posts.
