| Well it looks like another failed budget deadline missed and another furlow of state employees. I think instead of the hard working little guys being furlowed ALL elected state officials should be held responsible by garnishing their wages and benifits until a budget is resolved. |

Do we have hard working little guys?
I mean no disrespect, but a lot of state employees I've ever dealt with didn't know their job, didn't care about your problem, collected a pay check instead of earning one.
Probably 75% of these people couldn't make it in the outside world. |

hmm, an interesting point...
so, what your saying is disband the state government and let the masses fend for themselves....
at least then stuff would get done that matters? _________________ You can lead a fish out of water...but you can't make him breathe. |

| I'm saying hire the most qualified, then maybe things will get done. |

what qualifies someone as the most qualifying though?
is it resume? sources? background?
by hiring new people, in essence, are we not just recreating an already flawed system? _________________ You can lead a fish out of water...but you can't make him breathe. |

True but we have to start somewhere.
It would be nice to see the government set the example instead of talking about setting it. |

I have to disagree...
with the masses ruling themselves. There would be no politics for which to be upheave-ed. As for chaos, well, initially, sure while people learn to cope without laws and rules for which to guide their daily life...then people would do the whole, fend for yourself or be eaten(well, not literally eaten, unless food was scarce, then, if the opportunity presented itself, maybe...) So chaos initially, yes. Then the masses would turn upon themselves, eliminated the bad, weeding out the useless and ignorant, and allowing the good, useful, intelligent members of the nolongerexistant society to band together and for a new order, of peace.
Or, something like that.
Yeah, yeah something like that _________________ You can lead a fish out of water...but you can't make him breathe. |
