We have a back to back weekend at the Mountain House in McConnellsburg and we want to see if someone would want to start the night. We want to get a different band for each night. This might be a good opportunity to play somewhere new. Dates are Nov 24th and Dec 1st.

How do you transport the funk, exactly?

Are you going to leave the funk when you're done?

Is the funk friendly or does it bite?

Does the funk have all of it's vaccinations?

Are you going to bathe the funk or will it be funky?

I'm going. I haven't got a chance to see Way Down East or Shadetree Mechanics. A couple of friends of mine that are going seen Way Down East at Pappy's Pub a while back and said they are awesome.

We keep it stored in the Mr. Funky, which looks incredibly like a coffee machine.

The funk travels with us, at least on weekends.

The funk can be a harsh mistress.

The funk never takes a vacation. Wait... what?

The funk is by definition funky. Without the funk, the funk is merely fun.

no offense - but what exactly has changed up at the Mountain House...?

Seems like the authorities had bullied them out of having bands...?

And/or the previous owners had decided their crowd was just as well served by DJs...?

What i heard is that they got the ok from whoever to have bands again. For how long is another subject. They also want to change and have a dj on Fridays and a Bands on Saturdays. They want to also have a country night with bands. The 1 thing about the mountain house is..... It will always be the good ole mountain house.

It will be nice to play infront of the home crowd again. It's tough for people around home to travel 1 hr and half to see us.

Thanks to our good friends Kevin and Matt for taking the time and jamming with us. It'll be a great time.

Well - I dont really see the MH as the rough and tumble place of years gone by...

Bikers are sort of...posers...these days.(i mean that in a nice way) Generally upper-middle class guys with disposable income...pretty tame group of day-trippers.

I like the Country Band idea - unfortunately, it seems like the better regional country acts only work the summer Fair season, and then pack it in for Hunting season/Holidays...

Joe Bonson and Coffee Run are the best regional country act I've come across.

The Leasure Brothers - they are total pros - but I think they too are on hiatus...
