I just don't like food anymore.
I was eating some food that I love and was like meh, I am le tired of eating this. I was hungery, but had no desire to eat it. so i didn't
I feel I have experienced all that I can from food. I want/need something new, something I have not experienced before. something new and novel. a reinventing of meatloaf perhaps, though I am not fond of meatloaf propper.
For you see, mine kindala, I am a seeker of novelty and a builder of ships _________________ "Nothing is more precious to me than the smile of a child"- Joseph Stalin |

Have you tried non-food, food alternatives?
I mean, the possibilities are endless.
Paper, Rocks, Softer Metals, Rubber, The Occasional Automobile if you're hungry, Electricity(for that extra morning jolt), Nuclear Waster(for something a little hotter), it has been proven that fire can be edible _________________ You can lead a fish out of water...but you can't make him breathe. |

you ate a lot of paste as a child, didn't you.
I'd prefer to eat more abstract notions, like Freedom and the color yellow. _________________ "Nothing is more precious to me than the smile of a child"- Joseph Stalin |

Elmer's was the bestest.....
And I see...
are you any way like the kid in that john cusak movie who couldn't taste blue?
you see, i've never tried colors...but i've found that feasting upon the joy and sorrow of others can be quite nourishing at times _________________ You can lead a fish out of water...but you can't make him breathe. |

mmmm, absinthe....
but you'd have to get the good kind, all laced with fun chemicals, not the normal kind with it's planinity.
and, the sammich thing is weird. I mean, to each his own. But it has been my experience that everything tastes better as a sammich. _________________ You can lead a fish out of water...but you can't make him breathe. |

Have you tried edible herbs?
Nothing says "yummy" like a nasturium salad mixed with pineapple sage and peppermint mint leaves. _________________ Personal Responsibility. Get It. Use It. |

Kangaroo is pretty good. No more than medium rare or gets dry and icky.
Gator tail or tenderloin is very nice.
Most people locally cook duck very...poorly. It doesn't have to be a greasy, fatty mess.
Snails are good, little butter, little garlic...okay, I've never had scampi I didn't like, but you can prepare them (or not prepare them) other ways.
Have you had the octopus salad from Ginger House? It isn't bad. If octopus, sashimi and sushi aren't your things, the sesame chicken is very good and I've heard the honey chicken is delightful.
Do you have certain meats you just will not eat?
I'm not a huge lover of veggies, but I wouldn't sign off on them completely.
I also disagree with your sandwich opinion, but, eh.
I finally made it to the Pizza Factory in downtown C-burg and was quite pleased with the Great White pizza. The Taco pizza was pretty good too, but I suppose you could go buy a taco or taco salad. (Mmm, taco salad!)
The Supreme was typical Supreme, but they had some combinations that sounded fairly tasty.
How do you feed yourself normally?
I mean, are you a bowl of Ramen kind of giggly boy or steak and potatoes? _________________ Nevermind. |

personally i have issues w/meat....i seem to be "ok" w/chicken and fish but if i think too much about it i get turned...red meat i have to really focus on not thinking about what it was "before"...refuse to eat duck, lamb, veal...um...pork....what else? hum...pretty much the only red meat i'll eat is a burger from a restaurant. steak /shudder
octopus is the one sushi/sashimi i won't eat. will eat pretty much any of that i've found
veggies and i are #1 friends food wise...i'll eat ANY veggie. i'll eat fruit too, but i prefer veggies by far.
i went to chipotle yesterday for lunch. not impressed. dirty, hard to hear when ordering then you get looked at like you're retarded for not understanding their mumbling over the dull roar of the crowd and the music. dirty as in the soda area was a MESS and i almost didn't want to get my soda from there...well, lemonade. so i sit down and take a sip....uh, not very lemony. at ALL. get back up. dump it out and get rootbeer (sigh....caffeine free is limiting when you lust for the coca-cola)...then i start to eat. FINALLY. got the burrito and the nachos/salsa side....burrito good, but the salsa for the nachos was too little and i ran out (and was being painfully limiting w/my dippage)
it was "meh"....i won't rush back to it, though. honestly, i'd go to taco h#ll first....
i miss efrains i'll have to try the one that's moved in its place.
2-3/10 for chipotle. a lot of hype....sort of disappointed (went there at 1, so it was after the rush...i'd loathe to see it during the rush) |

It's a bummer I never got to try Efrain's; is there a new burrito place there?
I like Chipotle; their ingredients taste fresher than Moe's. But it's still not great and eating there is like eating in an abandoned warehouse.
I was in Florida recently and I got to try all kinds of great food I can't get around here. Seared ahi tuna, Korean beef ribs, mahi-mahi, pizza that beats any I've had in Chambersburg and the most unbelievable Greek gyros.
I don't belong in Chambersburg, PA |
