thats nothing, i was called racist today...again. this rather drunk, rather ...er...large black woman (srry, i meant native american.) and she was talking about how she kicked the crap out of this guy because he put his hands on her bum, " That mother f--ker put his hands on me!" and I , being a scrawney, white guy all by my lonesome was frightened by this whale of a woman and I guess she picked up on that and not so subtly implied that it was the fact that she was black that I was so scared.
not the fact that she was 7'10'' and 500lbs and drunk off her arse... but rather that I hate black people and fear them for no reason other that their skin color...

Its like this other black man who came in and asked me ,"Any Black people live in this town?" , this town being Quincy, a township that I don't live in, mind you. well I respond, "Well technically Quincy is a township, lacking several key characteristics and population requirements to be a town and secondly, I don't live here I can't say weither or not any black people live here or not." and he was all, " Man, you racists."

these instances ruined my nights.

Rifling through my fridge, I just found a gallon size Ziploc-type bag full of fish heads and tails (everything but the middles.)

And it was leaking.

BTW, the Butcher Shoppe sells their food in really flimsy disposable fridge containers.

I almost crushed the container of pimento spread when I put the lid back on it.

...but it was fish liquid proof and I guess that's something.

Hey I'm back, just in time to complain about the Butcher Shoppe.

Yes, their containers are cheap and flimsy, but that's not all. Since they have no scales at the registers (or a system for reading bar codes for that matter, effectively placing the Butcher Shoppe in the 1950's of retail) much of their produce is pre-packaged. This presents a significant problem, since they tend to wrap up their produce in cellophane. This is not good.

Onions, for example. Have you ever bought an onion at the BS? They're prepacked on a styrofoam tray and wrapped up in cellophane. Not only is this a huge waste of resources on a per-onion basis, but it also makes the onions slimy and gummy. For this reason alone I never buy ANY produce from the Butcher Shoppe. In fact, it would have to be a special circumstance for me to go there at all.

>singing now...<

Fish heads, fish heads
Ooey, gooey fish heads
Fish heads, fish heads
Eat them up, YUM!

Brings back the loving memories of my dear old Gramdmother when she would sing me to sleep with that song. Very Happy

I don't feel so good....

Clay Aiken confirmed it on his website. He's a dad.
Quote:
Clay Aiken's mother told local Raleigh, N.C. TV station that the "American Idol" runner-up was now the proud papa of a bouncing baby boy named Parker Foster Aiken.

Aiken's BFF, 50-year-old record producer Jaymes Foster, gave birth at 8:08 AM this morning in an "undisclosed location."

Aiken's mother Faye said the dark-haired Parker weighed in at 6 lbs. 2 oz and was 19" long. She says her son is "smiling from ear-to-ear."

From what I read, yes, his baby mama is his 55 year old producer and bestest friend.
