Am I wrong? I thought the tongue-on-the-pole mishap was the result of a triple-dog-dare...

No, no, you are correct.. thus making Christman's entire argument invalid.

Hey, if I referred to Christman as X-man, would the religious right protest me?

I have an odd question: Since when do mobile home owners pay real estate taxes o rented properties?

Maybe this is true but I never thought it would but I have not lived in one so I am unsure how it works.

The Real Estate Tax is on the Mobile Home, NOT on the rented lot it sits on. Real Estate Tax on the lot is paid by the owner of the lot. Mobile Homes depreciate about 5% per year, condition is also a factor. The assessment office makes NO automatic lowering of the assessed value (lowering your tax) for the depreciation. The result is you are systematically over taxed more & more each year!

Mobile Homes are NOT considered Real Estate by any institution, except the assessment office. They do that so they can tax them & on top of that they tax them unfairly! See details on website www.bitemetaxman.com

Mobile Homes are PERSONAL PROPERTY, not Real Estate! Any bank loans are at personal property rates, about double or more than the real estate loan rate.

Regards,
R E Christman
