(Newser) – Two Georgia men claim to have found a Bigfoot, and say they'll release evidence tomorrow at a press conference, LiveScience reports. Whether they'll display the alleged carcass or simply photographs is unknown, but a well-known Bigfoot hoaxer speaking on their behalf said the body will be studied in a secure, undisclosed location—raising doubts about its authenticity.

The men reportedly have DNA evidence of the creature captured in Georgia's northern woods, but LiveScience notes no specimen exists for comparison. Despite doubts, one Bigfoot researcher writing on Cryptomundo.com said, "I feel, in all honesty, this, indeed, may be the real deal, and I say this carefully after reviewing information that has been shared privately with me."

The rush to view purported pictures of Bigfoot on Thursday was so intense that the Web site maintained by a group claiming to have bagged the legendary biped went offline. Queries to SearchingForBigfoot.com were returned with an error message that said "Bandwidth Limit Exceeded."

Internet records show that the site is registered to a California-based company called The Bigfoot Hunters, which bills itself as the world's only "Bigfoot trackers." Company members this week claimed to have found a Bigfoot carcass in a heavily wooded area in northern Georgia and said they plan to unveil the evidence at a press conference Thursday.

A body that may very well be the body of the creature commonly known as "Bigfoot" has been found in the woods in northern Georgia.

DNA evidence and photo evidence of the creature will be
presented in a press conference on

Friday, August 15th from 12 Noon to 1:00pm at the Cabana Hotel-Palo Alto at 4290 El Camino Real in Palo Alto, California, 94306. The press conference will not be open to the public. It will only be open to credentialed members of the press.

The Public Opinion hates Chambersburg AND California, thus will be boycotting the event.
