Don't have the fish, or Leslie Neilson will pull eggs out of your mouth.

Both Emily's and 7-P's on Catherine St cater; Emily's is more formal, 7-P's is more casual... but neither will likely push "homestyle crap."

Honestly, I couldn't agree more with your sentiment on that... Chambersburg's a culinary black hole. I'd recommend giving Emily's a try... I hope she still caters things like weddings.

7P's or Kathy's deli in Shipp, I know alot better choices in Mechanicsburg and Harrisburg if you dont mind the dive.

No way; I've been to a lot of weddings. Nice ones have good, real food. Chicken, steak, pasta, fish... ham and turkey is a joke.

It's funny since the Orchards holds a lot of wedding receptions and you'd think that they would offer something better than "thanksgiving dinner," which is exactly what you described.

Yeah, it's easy to make such food to the hungry masses... if it's a picnic or an informal gathering. This is a wedding and, doggone it, her and her guests deserve a decent meal!

If you totally strike out in Chambersburg, L & D Catering out of Carlisle seem to have a REAL wedding menu and an actual website with said menu.

Kathys Deli is good

Premier Events is okay

Main Street Deli is good too!

Emilys no longer caters ( I was on the phone with her yesterday) But if you have it in her small place the menu is excellent!!

Cant wait to see what the new Italian restaurant has to offer
