OK

I loved the first season, but I suppose I can see where some people may have thought it was a bit over the top, what with the tobacco chewing, grungy angel named Earl and Holly Hunter's character spending every minute she isn't on duty (she's a cop) drunk and having sex with whatever random dude catches her eye.

Hey! Earl is a last chance angel! You don't get those by being a sweetheart! (I'm guessing)
>shrugs<
Well, I enjoyed it.

But this second season-- which opened with Grace (Hunter) having kidnapped and tortured a confession out of the priest that molested her starting when she was 9-- this season is SO much better!

Is anyone else watching this show?

Yeah. I watched Saving Grace from Tivo and then Eureka last night... I totally want Fifi

And I was proud of myself for figuring out who rock dude was within 45 seconds... I was like oooh oooh that's Cameron the dude who wrecked his dad's car and tried to keep up with Ferris!!
(That would be Alan Ruck.)

Shut up! I was happy!

I wanna be Holly Hunter when I grow up!

My Mummy went to high school with Ms. Hunter, I think she's a little envious of her. (Mum, not Hunter)

Saving Grace is fantastic. Holly Hunter is such a great dysfunctional yet competent detective.

I thought the first season was good, too and could hardly wait for the second season. I'm terribly disappointed that it was such a short season. I wanted to see more of her nephew, although I did like what they did with Ham and Grace's relationship.

I also enjoy Dexter. It's on Showtime, which we don't get, but they had it on during a free preview weekend and then I got the first season on DVD. Dexter is the dysfunctional bad guy as opposed to Grace's dysfunctional good girl. Laughing

There may be more episodes of Saving Grace in December.
>crosses fingers<
I read that Christina Ricci will be a detective for a few upcoming episodes.

Dexter OMGee!! I wanna be Dexter when I grow up too! Twisted Evil

We don't get Showtime either, but some of the scrubbed episodes were on CBS Sundays.
I plan to get the dvds, if I ever remember. Rolling Eyes

In Plain Sight in OK, it's sort of a duller, New Mexican Saving Grace. But Christian De La Fuente is caliente! Muy caliente!
