Does anyone have a dentist recommendation for Chambersburg? Preferably one that doesn't get all angry if you don't floss three times a day |

Logan - Meals in Waynesboro.
I ended my search there years ago. Fair - nice people - excellent dentists. Worth the drive (I am further than you). |

| With all the dentists in Chambersburg, I'd have a hard time driving to Waynesboro; but I will keep your recommendation in mind. |

| I deal with Miller dentisrty in Chambersburg. Ann is wonderful! She is so down to earth! It was a few years since I went to a dentist and she never barked at me about not going...she just understands! |

Now that's what I'm talking about. I'm not specifically looking for myself, but for a friend, who is more than squeamish about going to the dentist. Add to the fact she went to some kook in Waynesboro (not the same one as you Dave) who would be genuinely nasty about flossing, brushing and visiting the dentist, and she's ready for a change. Not that my friend doesn't floss, brush or visit the dentist regularly; heredity probably plays the biggest part. I got to the dentist sporadically, brush twice a day irregularly and only floss when I have what feels like an entire ribeye stuck in my teeth. Never had a cavity, I get praises for my lack of plaque buildup and I successfully fool the dentist every time I go for flossing daily only during the month leading up to my visit. |

She si great. tell ur friend to try her. I normally gag like crazy at other dentist but they are good taht I have only gaged once while taking xrays. It has been a blessing for me. I now go as often as they require.
I hope your friend makes out good!!!! |

Well I'm sold; i'm sending her to Dr. Miller. They even have their own website, which is nice (and even a little quirky!).
I'll let you know how it goes; thanks for the rec Me!!!!! |

Obviously, I'm too late, but I like Dr. Brian Johnston. He's on Hwy11 across from Kenny's.
We initially found him because of a dental emergency. He was the only one who moved things around so that he could see us same day and saved the teeth! He is absolutely great with my son (who is typically figidity and dramatic) so I started going to him also. I have horrible teeth. The only one who makes a huge deal about my teeth is me! He just says, "Well, you know flossing does help" and leaves at that. He's straight forward, but doesn't harp on you.
Another thing I really like is that he told me what was wrong, plus printed out what was wrong along with the estimated costs for each visit, so you know what you're getting into...I put off my fillings and he doesn't harp about it. I'm grown, I know I being bad by putting it off; he knows I know and there's no pressure.
Oh and they are also QUICK about filing the claims, so I normally get my reimbursement check from the insurance company within a week.
The only thing I've had a problem with is that their computer used to make appointments for my son if I didn't make them (not for me for some reason) and I would have to cancel them. I have not had that happen recently. Perhaps they worked out the kinks. _________________ I demand euphoria! |

Copay how did your friend ever make out with the dentist situation? _________________ I have this theory that chocolate slows down the aging process.... It may not be true, but do I dare take the chance?

i'm a dentist hopper. i believe in shopping around. i've been to johnson, franklin, witmer, old dr. miller, and some others in this area that aren't in business anymore.

How perceptive of you AC... which is why I'm even more confused about the viagra comment. |
