does anyone here watch the UFC? if you do whats your thoughts on this months super fight on Dec 29th The Iceman vs The Axe murderer??
I like chuck. great champ, but i think he was dana's poster boy with dana setting fights up in chucks favor. Chuck is a great striker but does poorly against them. The last fight against a good striker was Rampage and you know where that got chuck.
I'm taking Silva in the 3rd by brutal KO.
and GSP over Hughes.
Hughes is one of my favs but GSP has his number. _________________ Fedor by flying chicken wing. |

Looks to be a good card overall...but beware, it will suck. Why you ask? Because everytime I get the PPV they suck!
I hope Hughes beats GSP...he looked terrible when he lost to him.
As for Chuck and Axe, well aren't they getting a bit old? I think the face of the UFC is changing. |

Vandi is only 31? is that old? Chuck will be 37 or 38?
Randy set the bar high on when to start counting fighters out based on their age. _________________ Fedor by flying chicken wing. |

I'm not counting them out due to age, perhaps time in the sport would be a better way to phrase it.
Certainly Randy still has/had it at his age.
It appears to me that the UFC is working hard to get new blood (no pun intended) in the cage as evidenced by TUF. My guess is that they recognize that the names that have defined the sport over the past few years may not be able to carry the torch much longer and they need to get the "young blood" in there to pick things up.
Looking forward to the 12/29/07 PPV. |

after watching pride for years.. I’m finally jumping on the steroid band wagon.
ALL the fighters from pride have laid eggs, lost size and aggression.
Fedor is now ranked 10th on my list of HW even though he just won on New Years.
He has got to fight someone legit.

it was good that Wandi stood in there and fought.
But where was the leg kicks???
where was the knees in the clinch???
where was the guy pressing the action???
I didn't see the guy that demolished Rampage in 2 different fights.
Hats off to Chuck for winning and finally putting a stop to the UFC VS Pride debate.
Rampage looked disappointed that Wandi lost. I hope someday he'll fight Wandi again.
So how do you think brock lessnar will fair against Mir? _________________ Fedor by flying chicken wing. |

Brock vs. Mir: Will chairs be involved?
I haven't seen Brock fight yet, I heard he demolished some no name.
As for Mir, hasn't he been spending more time in the booth than the Octogon?
My guess is Brock explodes out in some sort of uncontrolled fury and either beats Mir into a pulp or he does something very stupid and Mir get a quick submission. |

you hit the brock mir fight right on the head.
Mayweather rumors are still pretty hot for fighting on HDnet.
Mark Cuban is offering him a load of money I just hope and pray they have him fight someone legit. I say have him fight BJ Penn. _________________ Fedor by flying chicken wing. |
