I love Titos too - Im sort of a stupid American when it comes to Mexican cuisine - all I know is TACOS...I think it's fun to sit in Titos and watch the food come out...Im always thinking "What's THAT?" - How do I order that thing...?"

It's downtown...

You know, I've never eaten at Tito's. I can't believe it, but I never really knew anyone who went there and I suppose I thought it wasn't really a place people went. Now, and today of all days, I have a taco craving and (provided that they're open, which they're probably not) I might stop in.

Go to the center of Chambersburg. Close your eyes. Extend your arm and point.

Now spin around five times.

Open your eyes.

You will be pointing at a Mexican store.

If they have good food, who cares if they're Mexican?

Quite right, Mavis.

Besides, it's a local business and not a chain, at least as far as I know, so not only is it good food, but you're supporting a locally owned establishment.

Yay!

Call me a name, but I'm not giving any money to any of the mexican stores. Immigration has taken illegals from them (employees). If ICE was able to dig further, I'd be interested to see what else they uncover.

Why the heck would anyone call you a name? You have the right to patronize any business you choose. I try not to buy products from China...which means I couldn't shop at Wal-Mart even if I wanted to! Razz

BadKarma is an appropriate name though; what makes you so sure that any of those downtown stores have anything to do with illegal immigration? To presume such may be crossing a line. I mean, I'm as much for enforcing immigration laws as anyone, and while I won't call you a name I will say it's a bit presumptive and ignorant to simply assume anyone who is Mexican is here illegally, because that certainly isn't the case and it is certainly unlikely if they are licensed business owners.

What about Montezuma's? Is it ok to eat there just because it's not located downtown, even though it is run by Mexicans also?

What makes me sure is that illegal immigrants have be detained by ICE that were employed by those "restaurants."

Further, other "non-Titos" restaurants and businesses fall into the same category.

Where did I mention that that anyone who is Mexican is here illegally? I don't believe I wrote that.

As for the licensed business owner comment, aren't businesses supposed to pay taxes? Don't you need a a SSN to pay taxes? Shouldn't the SSN be issued by the Federal government and not bought?

If people want to come to this Country that's fine. Do it legally.
