I too, thought it a little strange that an IQ could change/decrease. However it does. It happens in women of childbearing years and usually after a child is born. There is no proof that one has to do the the other, although with what a woman has to go through, it's no wonder.

Yes, it is true. I'm dang proud of it. It is however, not high enough to get me into MENSA. Women with brains are out there. I wasn't bragging, I was going with the above mentioned of IQs and babies.

| 156 is definitely high enough to get into mensa, mine is lower but high enough for mensa. an iq of 130 or so is high enough for mensa. that's my point, 156 is extremely high. |

Sorry.
Again, this was my fault. The comments on the video clip at the other end of the link were talking about I.Q.
distracted, I posted.
I don't see my score as anything to brag about (it really isn't.) I always found it odd that it was the same as my GT score (similar to ASVAB, more of a compilation....see there I go again. Sorry)
Unfortunately, I type like I talk, unless I'm really trying. I should probably use the edit button more.
For what it's worth, most people now believe that I.Q test (which are really just a measure of your ability to learn, not your actual knowledge level--I'm a lazy slob!) Are outdated and pretty worthless.
E.Q., habits, environment and personality are much more indicative of where you will end up in life.

Yeah, so, ummmmmm,
Anyone have an opinion on whether or not Pakistan should go ahead with their election?
I thinking it's kind of pointless with a party leader assasinated and another party boycotting the election and stuff.
Or maybe it's just because Bush told Musharraf to go ahead with the elections and since Bush is a moron it only makes sense to disagree with him.

Ugh, I'd really like to not think too much about Pakistan. The entire "martial law" initiated by Musharaff was pretty much the poster child for what is wrong with fundamentalist, Islamist theocracies. It pretty much seems like the citizens of Pakistan have spoken; we don't want no western freedoms. And unlike Iraq, Pakistan (like North Korea and Iran) actually has friggin' weapons of mass destruction.
But not so much oil. There's a lot to the US/Pakistan foreign relations dating back to 9/11 and Richard Clarke. But oh, seems the Bush administration has little interest in what counter-terrorism experts have to say. After all, destroying the constitution and greatly empowering the executive branch of government into unprecedented realms of secrecy is like a night at the local arcade for our great leader.
So whether or not Pakistan should go ahead with elections is a moot point; elections in Pakistan now may very well be as meaningless as elections in Iraq. |

I always wanted to read all the volumes of the encyclopedia cover to cover when I was younger.(No, Coppy, they weren't chiseled out of stone back then.) Is that sad?
