| The borough has too many different websites; can't they put all this stuff in one place, like on the borough website? Just a suggestion for Mr. Lagiovanne. |

The "borough" of Chambersburg has nothing to do with IceFest. It's put on by the Council for the Arts, with cooperation from Downtown Chambersburg, Inc. (connected to the Chamber of Commerce). _________________ Author assumes full responsibility for the content of their posts. Oh... so why isn't it just on the chamber's website? I am impressed with the progress they've made on it... it was a long time coming, but chambersburg.org is far more informative than it ever was. |

If you click on the 'Community Events' link, it will take you to a Calendar of Events. IceFest is on the 31st. _________________ Author assumes full responsibility for the content of their posts. Could someone please explain to me why the "chili cookoff" is so short? Hours for it are listed as "11 am - 1 pm." What is that? Two hours? And who eats chili before noon?
I'd like to go to the chili cookoff, but I feel like the right time for this would be between lunch and dinner. And I think it could be a popular event; why not extend the hours from 11 am until something like 4 pm?
Just some ramblings; I'd like to go tomorrow, but I don't feel like re-arranging my whole Saturday schedule (as if I had one) to try and get into the 2 hour window to try some chili, as bland and spiceless as I fear it may be |

| I think the ice festival is a great event but it has so much more potential and the hours for the chili cookoff is just one thing that to be adjusted. It's a great idea but it just needs to be taken to the next level as far as the food that is being offered and the hours JMHO. |

I guess it's difficult to have a festival outside in 30 degree weather, and I can understand that. The chili cookoff seems the most interesting to me. I like that there is something this time of year to do locally and the IceFest is something a lot of people are proud of and should be.
I'll be checking it out. |

WE went to the Ice Fest today and my two year old loved it. It is somethig every family should try to do each year. I know that we both said that it will be ayearly thing. The weather was cold but not soo cold that all you do is complain about it.
With the forcast I heard tonight I think that the small ice sculpures will be done by Tuesday. _________________ I have this theory that chocolate slows down the aging process.... It may not be true, but do I dare take the chance?
