Anyone else notice this?
Sounds kinda fun, and I can't recall anything like this on any of my other forums.
But, the "rewards" are kinda silly, imo... (Although if "General Zod" were one of the titles I'd be all over it.)

You could look at this as a pretty creative way for the PO to try to raise the quality of the forum. By creating an incentive to be thoughtful, funny, serious, respectful, and creative they can help ensure that things don't degrade into the slimey ugliness of the Topix.
Or you could look at it as a transparent effort to modify our behavior and be insulted at their attempt to manipulate us.
I guess your perception depends on whether or not your meds have kicked in.     *depakote* |

That occurred to me as well. I guess I didn't mention it because I really didn't find it insulting.
Mostly because I haven't noticed much need for behavior modification around here, I just took it as an attempt at creativity.
I am curious about the titles though... Can we maybe get a list? And some idea of what's required to win them?
