I'm just getting home and looking at the news articles today, and I see that there is not Topix forum for the above article. Did it get so ugly so fast that they've pulled it already?
It seems like every time the PO runs a story that touches on illegal immigration, they end up having to pull the discussion thread. Are we really such a xenophobic community that we can't have a civil discussion on this topic? |

You're right - it's a few cave dwellers who make us all look bad. I didn't mean to disparage the good citizens of the Soapbox.
I often wonder what those from outside our little valley think when they read the filth in the Topix. It's embarrassing. |

This is one of the reasons I'm glad you continue to post. You represent the sane people, even though the cave dwellers tend to cause insanity. 
I don't know how you and the others do it, but I'm glad you do. Even when I don't post (most of the time) I sometimes get the urge to hit something.
