Cookie girl...can I ask why you left Miller? I had a not so usual situation at my last cleaning and I am considering changing even though it was the hygentist ot the dentist. _________________ I have this theory that chocolate slows down the aging process.... i'm a dentist hopper. i believe in shopping around. i've been to johnson, franklin, witmer, old dr. miller, and some others in this area that aren't in business anymore.
so far, parrett has my vote of confidence! woot!!!! |
Our family, too! When this topic came up it reminded me that we needed to find a new dentist. I had to go online to find one that our insurance would accept, one that cattered to scardy cats (me!), one who used gas, and one who had the most up-to-date equipment.
Were we ever surprised to find our old dental hygienest (who we LOVED!!!) from another "not so good" denstist in Shippensburg that was at Dr. Parrett's office! |

| It may be libelous to post negative information about the performance of any local dentist by name. So we will have to remove such posts. |

Such is why I didn't name my former dentist, with the bad teeth, in Shippensburg. |

| That is good. But someone could have responded negatively to your question about a specific dentist... |

| Jane Keller will get er done. They do a great job in about 20 to 35 minutes. Depending on if your teeth have a cavity or not. As soon as you walk in the door they are ready to see you. Hardly ever have a back log. |

I go to Dr. Karen Weicht in Waynesboro eventhough I live 45 minutes away, she's very worth it! I've gone to her for probably 15 years and never had a reason to switch! Everyone who works there is super nice, ready to see you when you walk in the door and nothing is ever painful! i actually LIKE to go to the dentist!

To: Shipgrrl: If you are referring to a woman dentist then you did not go to the dentist that dave went to. The woman dentist now has a different last name and is not affiliated with Dave's dentist. She is a great dentist! I personally would not choose Dave's dentist.

It is great to hear such nice reviews of Dr. Parrett as I am contemplating switching dentists and Dr. Parrett is top contender. My question is do you think he does a good job with children? Making them feel comfortable etc? Great environment for them?
Thanks so much. |

| Dr. Pastor at Dental Associates (on Walker Road) is an excellent dentist. Dr. Ann Miller is excellent too. She used to be with Dental Associates and I had her when I was there. she did a crown for me along with other denistry. Either, you would be in good hands. |
