I could not bring myself to watch Cloverfield. It has nothing to do with herky jerky camera work, a problem with giant monsters or an "MTV" type of cast. No, the reason I could not watch that movie is because its totally unrealistic. Anyone in the know understands this. If it were set anywhere else in the world I could buy it. It just is so fake to take place in North America.
The reason: Resting in the Great Lakes is a lumber jack and a giant blue ox. Paul Bunyon and Babe protect North America from giant radioactive dinosaurs, this is why the American made Godzilla movie was awful. This is why Godzilla stay far, far away. It has enough sense to not mess with a guy with an enormous ax.

That is why I sleep so well at night.

Yeah, but apparently, Godzilla has been given the same treatment as the running zombies.

So he'd be pretty dangerous and hard to hit with that slow-moving two-hander...

I like to think that Appleseed could help, but he's tiny and apples are good for you.

The most dangerous and little know America Folk hero is Rasputin the Buckwheat. He is known to people that attended Pitt in the 90's. He has the power to resemble a zombie version of Buckwheat from the little rascals and not die. That dude used to lay in traffic.
