Try wiialerts.com
There you can sign up and they will send you a text message (or email) whenever a Wii is available online at MSRP. Amazon usually makes a few available every Wednesday.
You probably will not be able to find one in stores anytime soon and you certainly shouldn't buy one for more than MSRP, so that I think would be your best bet for getting one now. |

I was lucky enough to stumble upon one at Target.
The girl said they had 9 yesterday, and they were all gone by 10:30.
Also, I believe I remember the salesman at Circuit City said they get their shipments in on Sunday mornings. _________________ Life is short, but there is always time enough for courtesy.

i've found that the demand is there, but the supply is not. wonder if nintendo is trying a new marketing scheme? |

Well, I need to get a telly before I starting thinking about consoles again. But once I have one, if I can't track down a Wii within a few weeks, I'll just end up getting a 360... Not gonna do both, and Xbox Live has a lot of appeal for me.
It's a shame too, because I'm a huge Nintendo fan. I've had every console up to Game Cube, and most of the handhelds. I might have to be content with getting my Nintendo fix on the DS.
So I'm hoping they just can't get the chips fast enough, or something, because such a marketing strategy seems pretty dumb to me. They could sell millions if they could get them on the street. Under what scenario would it possibly be desirable to NOT sell your product?

amenz, torgo....
they could be rolling in the dough if they'd just get some more out.
thought about getting the xbox as well but i heard it had a 33% failure rate and that then if that happened, you have to ship it back for them to fix/repair/replace...too much of a hassle for me.
will stick w/WoW and wii
hehe..... |

| I think the people working in the Wii factory are getting preoccupied with playing the Wii. |

They left the 360 controller out of there. It must be the next step. |
