Dear POstaff,
Can you tell what posts get the most visits at a particular time?
I was online last night and right before I started closing my tabs the guest count for the Soapbox shot up, bouncing around in the low 100s. I waited and refreshed to see if there were any new posts (nope) and as I did so, the number of guests started to drop.
I'm just curious as to what attracted that many guests to the site in the wee hours of the morning.
Or was it some funky glitch?
P.S.- I would address this to Becky, since she is usually so kind as to answer our questions, but I think I remember that the user name is shared and I wouldn't want to offend any other staff or imply that I only want a reply from Ms. Bennett. There, have I explained and hemmed and hawed enough?

As I understand it, we can't track traffic on the forum at this point because phpbb is an off-the-shelf free program, and not technically part of our site. We plan to integrate it in the future, so we can track usage but we don't have a date for that change yet.

That was just me pinging the server. I was playing at www.simslots.com and fell asleep and was clicking heedlessly on the forums link. sorry.... |
