I know the carnival is a long ways off but does anyone know who will be playing this year? Thats like the only reason I go these days. Used to be Red Run Park, but they put a stop to that. Its hard to find music outdoors. The only places I've seen it was Gettysburg, but its a pain to drive out there. I only get to go maybe once every three months..gas prices.

| There's talk about having a music festival at Chambersburg's Memorial Park this year on the mayor's website. Something I'd love to see. |

The Boro Boogie Pickers are playing Tuesday night (7.15) at the Greencastle Firemans Carnival. www.theboroboogiepickers.com
Red Run still puts on some shows, however I do think they stopped the "wayz fest"...
Hagerstown always does the Blues festival too. |

Wayz fest?
I went to Augustoberfest in Hagerstown, not last year but the year before. I really enjoyed it... authentic German beer and food with people singing and dancing while wearing way too much leiderhosen. I loved it.
The Hagerstown Suns host a beer festival which is pretty mediocre at best.
I've always wanted to go to the Blue fest in Hagerstown; anyone know when that is? |

Ways ...104.7 radio station used to put on a show with a semi known headliner.
Blues Fest 5.30 wknd http://www.blues-fest.org/ (Scofeild and Medeski make it worthwhile)
Rouzerfest will be happening this year at Red Run Park ...example of 2007 events http://www.rouzerville.org/RouzerFest2007_img.html
Waynesboro had their first Harvest Day which hosted multiple bands on main street, the summer jubilee on the 4th also has bands outside. |
