Dear P.O.:
Thanks for the article on Jeff Conner.
While I think something is definately shady about the practices, the truth is I really don't care.
Now, don't write me off just yet....
I truely hope that through your investigations you will look into the "more important" aspects and power players in Franklin County. There is mush to look into and find.
Keep digging. You might be amazed at how deep the rabbitt hole goes. |

Aww.
I care.
The behavior of officals in this area really bothers me. I have lived in several areas, even backwoods Georgia (another commentor referenced the wilds of GA on Topix, which is why I mention it) and I have NEVER seen such blatant disregard!!
At least most politicians and officials have the decency to pretend to do the right thing while screwing the taxpayer! These people wave it in our faces and then dare us to do something about it!

Chel, here's my thing: If Conner is dirty, he is a small fish (figuretively!). Go up the chain, look into the money, look into who controls money in this County, look who is in power and in the club.
The County is messed up and poorly run.
I would like to see the big fish exposed. |

Well, I can't argue with that. I would love to see the big fish caught and fried up if they have their fins where they aren't supposed to!
Sometimes you have to work your way up though.
(This is where the fish analogy goes to the tank.)
The big guys have done this for so long apparently that all the small fry are doing it to. You have to thin the herd of little guys to make a path to the fat cats.
And maybe, if one these jerks actually gets cut down to size (Conner) the others will start getting scared and clean up their act or, better yet, start ratting each other out like it's going out of style!
We need to sanitize the whole lot of 'em, but it's going to be harder than just turning on the light and spraying some bleach.
I'll gladly help anyway I can, my compensation being the right to live in an uncorrupted community. I already vote, but there has to be something more...proactive that I can do. _________________ I demand euphoria! |

Well, I was hoping for some clarification today.
(okay, no I wasn't. I was hoping he would be tarred and feathered on the courthouse steps before being arrested on federal charges) But after all this time, all these questions---he didn't even have any good spin.
I mean the guy is making it hard on the people who WANT to believe him!
I cannot believe the poor woman doesn't even know where his body is!
I'm curious as to what others thought about Conner's responses today.
I think my feelings are obvious. If you disagree with me, if you support our Coroner, I'd like to hear what you have to say. I promise, No personal attacks against you. Personal feelings aside, I just want to know what legal standing you think he has. _________________ I demand euphoria! |

Totally underwhelming, anti-climactic and uninformative - exactly what I expected. _________________ Author assumes full responsibility for the content of their posts.
