Anyone have a suggestion on who has the best wings in town?
Note: I will never, ever go to Dilly's. |

Hahahah, you should. It's...entertaining.
And by entertaining, I mean scary.
Anyway, the only place I've had wings is the Cottage, and they were pretty good. I can't say that they were the best since I have nothing locally to compare them to...but they didn't suck |

I've been to Dilly's; I should have added "again" to the end of my sentence.
It's not a bad place for lunch with a few guys, but I'm not too keen on going there specifically for food or after the locals show up.
I think I'm done with The Cottage. Their hours are random and their staff caters mainly to regulars. I'd like to give them another try, but I'm not making reservations just so Mr. and Mrs. I've-Eaten-Here-Every-Week-For-20-Years can have a table. It's just too small.
I'll include the surrounding area; Casey's, in Greencastle, has pretty good wings and some interesting flavors, but I don't think they're the best. Someone mentioned the Pub, and I'll have to try there (sometimes I wish it really was a pub; they should change their name to Norland Another Bar). Other than that, I'm not even sure where to try... |

| I've only eaten in the restaurant at the Cottage once and in the bar a time or two. It IS really, really small. I like some of their food, though, so I always get takeout when I'm around. |

Like so many things, if cooked correctly there are a couple of good wings around here.
I do enjoy the Cottage wings. Norland's are decent (good size wings).
I like to go to BW3's in Hagerstown. Small wings, many flavors. Love the Mango Habenero. |

(Speaking on behalf of Waynesboro.)
Gloria's Blackhorse in Waynesboro has homeade wings (she dredges them all herself) nothing frozen here...and they are HUGE ! 6 is a meal.
Park Tavern is "famous" for its wings but I am not a fan. Anyone can get wings out of the freezer and put them into hot oil ... eh ... to each their own. |

By far the best anywhere in the area... we used to hit Kokomo's too, until the West Shore one burned down (it's now an ABC, so that's not so bad).
I go to Carlisle MCP as often as I can; the Shippensburg one doesn't do it for me. There's no seating after 9, so unless you get a spot at the bar, you're out of luck because they close off the huge dining area (still don't understand why; Nikki's always opened it up).
I'm also not a big Knute's fan; they have loads of potential but just miss the mark on most of their food. |
