I like wine and scotch. Usually single malt, but Johnny Walker Blue Label is an occasional indulgence--blended or not, it so so smooth!
Oh And Black Seal Rum and Patron tequila!

I have a bottle of Black Seal Rum in the cabinet... I save it for the unusual occasion on a cold day when I feel like a hot toddy.
I avoid tequila because, well, tequila and I don't get along so well.
Beer is my ultimate indulgence (I'm enjoying a Samuel Smith's Imperial Stout right now) but wine is a necessity to have on hand for me if only to go with a nice steak or fish dinner.
I also made my own wine a year ago and I still have quite a few bottles scattered around. |

DFH makes three different varieties of IPA: 60 Minute (their most popular and one of the best of the style) and two more extreme versions, 90 Minute (an outstanding beer at 9% ABV) and 120 Minute (a whopping 21% version that comes in at over $8 for a single, 12 oz. bottle-- in Maryland only).
The India Pale Ale style originates from the 18th century when traditional British beer didn't keep during long voyages to India in the early 1700's, due to the hot climate. Before refrigeration and pasteurization, the best defense was alcohol and hops... and lots of it. IPA's were brewed longer, achieving a higher ABV and with much more hops giving them their characteristically "bitter" hop flavor.
Today, they're considered some of the most sophisticated and accessible beers from American craft brewers. There are two version; an American and English. The American version is more flavorful and robust than the bitter and dry English style.
Some of the best varieties available in the area are HopDevil (from Victory brewing out of Downingtown, PA), Two Hearted Ale, Stone IPA, Harpoon IPA (Baltimore), Loose Cannon from Clipper City (also Baltimore) and Hops Infusion from Weyerbacher (out of Easton, PA).
Two Hearted may be the best version I've tasted; they sell cases of it at In & Out Beverage, or as a variety case. |

I lived 20 minutes form their brewery, I tried the IPA 120 but you need a sniffer to drink it like brandy, I dont know why I thought the Indian Ale was IPA |

Oh NO I don't do McDonald's!
Right now it is actually Cracker Barrel Sweet Tea because DH bought a jug for me when we ran out---I was too sick to mope into the kitchen and he was too scared he'd mess it up.
Normally though, it's homemade.
Sassy, I was just giving you a hard time. That definitely sounds like an inexperienced drinker's mistake tho'
