My son is totally into WoW. He can sit for hours upon hours and play. I can go to bed and he is sitting on the couch with his laptop on his lap and then wake up the next morning and he is still sitting on the couch with his laptop on his lap, same position. Getting hooked up to a catheter, IV fluids and a feeding tube would probably be something he would ponder if at all possible.

so, because of WoW, i haven't been on the forum today (my day off)..hehe..and look what i missed out on!

paul, i sent you a PM...lemme know your alligence (horde or alliance) and what server you are on and your screen name and i will pop over there and help you out (i can lvl fast haha)...i'll show you a mini-tour of how it works (siince i'll be a lowbie too, but i can at least help you get started lol)

so, i was in battlegrounds all day and was working on my warlock and hunter. both of them are almost 30. did some mining on my main (the 70 priest) and had a jolly old time killing alliance ( i am horde)

now, chel, my dear----it's YOUR TURN!!!!! Very Happy

We have DSL. That is what my son uses to play, so it does work.

DSL is broadband; it may not be quite as fast as cable for downloading and uploading files, but it wouldn't really make much difference in a game like WoW. Cable and DSL would be pretty comparable; it just wouldn't work with any sort of dial-up connection.
