Ok because the people who lived where I am moving too did not "disconnect" their service I cannot schedule a hookup time. Then to top it off the rep had the nerve to say to me " Sir how do I not know that you are a relative and trying to get a family member out of a past bill?" I am sending my wife to the office on Thursday with a copy of our lease. And the worst part is that that same rep said " Oh I see that the downstairs place has a scheduled hookup for the 1st" ***

But, but, but

I need my Cartoon Network and my BBCAmerica and my DIY channel and History and A&E and Comedy Central and Food Network and HGTV!!

I do.

I NEED them.

Other channels are nice and all, like IFC and MSNBC (I like Morning Joe, okay?! Hardball during non-election periods and I used to like Olbermann, but really he's getting a little irritating...election coverage is driving me batty---wake me in October!)

I briefly considered switching to cable, things are so hectic that it'd be nice to go from two bills to one (I have Embarq and DirecTV, because Dish network was no comparison), but I logged on yesterday and here you were cursing the cable---and to be honest, I HATE cable companies anyway, so any leap to Comcast would be extreme action for me, I'd only do it for Triple Play...

Part of me just wants to throw the doggone TV out the window...but the above mentioned channels, they call me, you see.

Nope, never tried Meth. Never tried LSD either, but I imagine that would be more entertaining...

isn't meth for when you just want to get a bunch of stuff done and stay up days to get it finished and you can't afford cocaine?

Or are you saying it's more entertaining to watch tweakers than tv? "cause I can kinda agree with that, but after awhile, I'd still miss my shows, I mean I learn stuff from them...all I learn from watching people tweak is, if you're going to do it, make sure there are no witnesses.

I considered dropping acid, back in the day; I was impressed by Dr. Hofmann's writings on the subject, but it was another one of those things I just never got around to doing.
Besides, I was told you need a 'babysitter' your first time and I've never trusted anyone that much.
Now I wouldn't even begin to know how to find sources and I STILL don't trust people all that much. >sigh<

Eh, acid and pot I understand --- meth I do not now, nor do I want to, but to each their own.

Anymore, entertainment replacement suggestions? Preferably doable by an inactive poor person that doesn't move so well?

Yeah, I'm moving that way.

I currently surf the interwebs on my laptop, it's easier to keep an eye on the activities of my houses inhabitants this way, but for WoW I'd have to go to the desktop, which is probably not the monster that yours or Cookie's is (it was upgraded last year, but I haven't played on it since before ---that's how much I need to watch the 'inhabitants'!)
But he's a good boy, er, the desktop that is.

So, is that where you've been?

What did you decide character wise? I'm leaning towards a warlock troll, I kinda like druids too and since I'm digging Horde that means that cow thing, still don't know jack about professions, I was thinking engineering/mining, but I'm not too creative, and maybe the sources are drying up, maybe I'll get stuck in a cave-in and have to kill all my fellow miners so the don't compete for oxygen! That would suck, probably wouldn't even get any experience points for it, either.

eng/mining is a good combo...i'll write about professions tonight or tomorrow...work has been crazy swamped so i haven't had a chance to write it yet Smile

i have a few computers, to be honest lol. i am a nerdy girlie. what can i say. i'm down to 4 now. Razz oh, no, 3...i gave one to my mom. 5 tho if you count the bits in my spare closet Very Happy and i'm sure you could run it...just double check the sys requirements....unlike age of conan it has more realistic sys requirements LOLZ....

i <3 the horde. totally biased there. someone the other day said to me, join the alliance, fight for the right side and i said...i am fighting on the right side. Very Happy

i think it's fun to try multiple classes to see which you like. i didn't try a new alt until mainVal was .. 40s? she was my focus...then i made my pally and eventually shammy and so on and so forth. if i had done that, i would've realized i enjoyed druid/lock the most and lvl'd one of them first. LOL....

don't know until you try.

if you guys sign up, private message me the server you choose, and what your alt's name is....i'll track ya down and say hi and try to get you started (i've done the horde quests plenty o'times....)....if you choose ally side...you'll have to talk to torgo (aka. MR. ALLIANCE). haha... rofl.... Very Happy
