I have a couch that had an unfortunate encounter this weekend; with my ***. Basically several years of sort of "plopping" myself on the couch, rather than casually sitting on it has resulted in a broken supporting piece right where the bottom and the back meet.

Needless to say, s-o was pretty distraught; it's a really nice couch.

So now I find myself in need of furniture repair services. There are several places I found on Google Maps but I thought I'd seek out first hand experience. What I would like is a decent enough craftsman who can pull off and put back the upholstery, fix AND strengthen the broken piece (we don't need this happening again) and preferably do it on-site... I don't want to needlessly haul this thing around town.

And I'll even try to take more care when sitting on it too.

TRy calling Lesher furniture in Marion. They are really nice people to deal with. Not sure if they fix but I do know that they make furniture so I am guessing they would fix also.
